The Maya Story
June 2026 · 3 min read

Maya began with a simple idea: that a scent can hold a place, a person, an afternoon of light. We wanted to bottle those small moments — not with something loud, but with something you can live inside.
Every candle is poured by hand — premium soy wax, a cotton wick, essential oils. Pouring in small batches keeps us close to the work. We can smell the wax as it sets, watch how a fragrance blooms as it cools, and pull anything that isn't right.
We build our scents the way you'd retrace a memory — layer by layer, until the room feels the way you remember it. A top note that greets you at the door. A heart that settles in. A base that lingers long after the flame is out.
Nothing here is rushed. A batch takes the time it takes, and we'd rather pour fewer, better candles than fill a shelf. Restraint is the whole point: one honest scent, made carefully, is worth more than a dozen that try to do everything.
The tin matters too — a small object that can outlive its wax and hold matches, pins, or nothing at all. That's the Maya idea, still: fewer things, made with care, meant to stay.
Ready to find yours? Every scent in the collection is poured by hand, in small batches, to be lived with.
